Hi!

 

 

     Ok so I am never any good at talking about myself all serious like so I'll just give it to you straight!

 

 

     I have tunnel vision when chasing my dreams and sometimes reality gets neglected a little...and I'm an artist...some may think I'm crazy...others may think I will never make it, and some think that I have just plain lost my mind. But what really matters is when I look in the mirror and tell myself wow you made it one more day!!!! Keep going!!!! Never give up!!!! Never be afraid to put yourself out there.! Dreams will just stay dreams if that is all they are to you!

 

      Reality will only be reality for some, but theres got to be a middle ground, hell yeah its called hard work and knowing that what you are doing will pay off in the end if only you stay focused! Maybe your sacrificing a LOT! Maybe you only have a small job getting you by because that is the only thing that works for you, maybe you have several jobs, going to every audition, struggling to make ends meet, thinking that what you are doing is not good enough and that you will never make it, well STOP!!!!!

 

     Just keep positive! Work on being a better person, finding a better job, learning to tolerate those who really get on your nerves, its called life and some people think that they know how you should live it, and that is just them,accept them,love them, learn from them, take what you need from the situation and move on! Some people want to help you, and others want to hurt you! It really is black and white! Don't listen to the haters, you are beautiful and you have a heart of gold that God gave you and you have a purpose!

 

     Learn to tune out the people who put you down and tell you that you are never going to make it! You have one special purpose and its different for each and every one of you, but stay true to yourself, never compromise that for anyone, and stay focussed! The only person who can really see the end result, and making the dream a reality is you! Just Be You!

 

     Now having said that...I really just wanted to have a heart to heart with you guys and not be like everyone else and write some boring this is my life, and this is what I have accomplished blah blah blah!!!! But I will tell you a little story about me and I will try to keep it short and sweet. I was born for music, and I was born to perform! As a little child of 3 years old I played my first piano, and by 8 I was singing on a grandstand in front of 2000 people, and I have went through a LOT in my life, and I know that alot of you can relate to that! So having said that I will not get into that!!!! HAHA Live, Laugh, Love, and enjoy life!

 

     I know that you probably get tired of hearing it, but I want to thank you guys for listening to my music and encouraging me like you do, it really is a blessing! I know that this dream is attainable because of you and your support! So anyway, I feel like I have aadd sometimes, I get off track So long story short is I grew up! I have played at talent shows, coffee houses, street corners, downtown Chicago, Outside of Walmart..just everywhere at first to get my name out there.

 

     Anywhere is good enough! I have auditioned for American Idol 5 times, The voice 2 times, X-Factor 1 time, and America's Got Talent 1 time. I have learned a lot in doing so because I have become stronger than I used to be! I take risks a lot more, I listen to people who have valuable information to teach me, and I am constantly learning and growing as a person and an artist. I have much to learn, and am excited to see where my future is taking me!

 

My music has been played on a few different radio stations here in the U.S. and one in Germany. My song "Pray" has been played on http://radiowellenflug.radio.net/ thanks to Norbert Schneider! My song "I Live Inside" has been played on ghtalkradio.com and I recieved an hour long interview segment thanks to Christy Baker and Brenda Whitehouse! That same song has also been aired on www.bestcountryradio.com and nominated to be on the Top 40 Country Countdown in Nashville, TN thanks to Bobby Golomboski!

 

I have also performed at several Colgate Country Showdowns at local county fairs. I have the privilege of announcing that I will be singing with a friend of mine Valerie Holmes at the Ilinois State Fair!!!! We are performing for the Powerlight Festival sponsored by 99.7 Kiss FM! So lots of exciting things going on! 

 

And last but not least I am now a lead singer in a band! No we do not have a name yet. lol. We just got together and have had like 6 practices so far, but let me tell you this, I have noticed that we have the potential to be a great band. We are starting out as a cover band so we can get the experience and so we can get our names out there more, but eventually we will be wrting our own songs!
